Another month…another Bloggers’ Homes link up! I have to pinch myself that it’s June…it doesn’t seem possible.
Thank you to all who have linked up over the course of the year…I love seeing what everyone has been up to DIY wise and also what room transformations are taking place. Scroll down to see who the lucky linker was last month (£25 Rockett St George voucher on its way to you).
This month my real life blogging wife, Gaby from Life In Eight, is going to talk us through her recent office reveal. It’s such a bright and productive space. I’m a huge lover of her home style and I can confirm it looks just as good in real life…over to Gaby!
What do you love most about the room?
I really like how the blue on the wall and the oak furniture go together. I also like the shelving. They are perfect for those pretty things that make me smile every time I enter the room and also for the things that I need to have handy while doing some bloggy work up there. This doesn’t happen very often I’m afraid as I always end up sitting at the dining table with my laptop mainly because I’m usually multi-tasking: making sure my girly doesn’t get herself into trouble while playing in the sun-lounge or watching some telly at night or talking to hubby at the same time! It can be hard to be a blogger sometimes! 😉
What do you wish you did differently? (If anything)
I honestly can’t think of anything at the moment. This is the least used and smallest room in our house so bearing that in mind I think it’s looking rather good, don’t you think?
What room is next on your list?
Definitely the master bedroom. After 20 months of co-sleeping with our munchkin, Mr. Eight and I feel that we more than deserve to finally make this room OURS. We kind of already started the process by selling our old chest of drawers and replacing it with a taller and narrower one and adding a dressing table and mirror. We have quite a clear idea of what we want décor wise, at the moment the only thing we are struggling to find is the perfect bed (not a minor detail in a master bedroom –ahem!).
