Ginger & Date loaf cake.
Preheat oven to 180C
Add all dry ingredients first, sifting the flour as you go. Then add the wet ingredients and mixer until you have a lovely golden cake mix.
Pour into a loaf tin (or your tin of choice!) and bake for 45-50 minutes. Use a skewer to test if it's ready. The deeper your tin, the longer you may need. If you opt for a shallow tin, cut the time to 30-40 minutes.
Serve with ice cream, cream, custard.... Or just gorge on its own!
