Allowing myself to think ahead to the kitchen now that the bathrooms are underway. I’ve always been a fan of pull down kitchen taps, but never owned one.
Pull down kitchen taps come in an array of colours and finishes and I am quite taken by the matt black effect tap, although I know I wouldn’t have the guts to take the plunge.
Black Pull Down Kitchen Tap Splurge
Made by Bristan, the licorice monobloc sink mixer can be sourced from a variety of bathroom retailers for around £210 (Victorian Plumbing). Baring in mind I’ll be having the same tap in the utility room, that would be quite an investment for 2 taps.
Black Pull Down Kitchen Tap Save
B&Q have come a long way with their kitchen and bathroom ranges. They are now up there with modern design and their Cooke & Lewis range is great quality. Their Tronto black pull out and spray tap in currently down from £139 (still a good save) to £78! More pocket friendly and would free up cash to buy other decorative goodies for the kitchen.
Although I prefer the sleek lines of the Bristan tap, I just couldn’t justify the cost.
