This month I’m absolutely loving the collection of natural materials doing the rounds on the interiors circuit.  These are widely available from online boutique to high street stores and incorporate a range of textures and colours to add a touch of natural to your room. From cork, to wicker and all those amazing inbetweens, such as jute, marble, wood and concrete.  These elements are very tactile and come in a variety of finishes from the highly polished to the hand made, to suit your decor taste best.

As you know I am a total interior junkie and I want to get back into the habit of posting more on home decor trends.  Our house is quite a mixture of different styles, from industrial to scandi and even a bit of retro and modern thrown in.  I love to mix up various items around and come up with my own home vibe.

I’m just loving the concrete and cork especially.  Despite a heavy industrial vibe in our house, I’m lovely the clean colour of cork against white (we have a gloss white kitchen) and as for concrete, well I love that it’s both polished but has a ingrained aged effect streak to it (does that make sense?!) that just satisfies my industrial tastebud.

As you can see from my top picks, you will not struggle to fulfill your natural homeware desires if you hit Oliver Bonas (ding, ding, ding) I could have shopped the entire look from there, but for fairness… I dragged myself away after a few picks.  Similarly H&M, Rose & Grey and, my homeware love affair, Rockett St George all stock some pretty spectacular concrete, wood and marble homewares.

  1. Love the items you picked Pamela! I love wood and anything nature and natural when it comes to decor pieces. That circular trolley looks so good. Where can I find it?
