It has been someone’s birthday this weekend, so we’ve been out to celebrate and where better to head for a quick bite with kids than Union Square Aberdeen. On this occasion we were headed to try out the new kids menu at the Thai streetfood place, Thaikhun. It’s always somewhere us adults had eyed up, but never even thought that it would be suitable for kids…but we were so wrong!Continue reading
We are very lucky that we stay in the foothills of one of Scotland’s most beautiful hills, surrounded by vast countryside and endless forests. Every family stroll turns into a mini adventure…think The Faraway Tree (my favourite book ever!)
Now that we are a family of 4 we wanted to include MM in our exploring. So when I was given the opportunity to test the Graco Evo XT (Rock colourway), I was excited to try out its offroad capabilities in particular.Continue reading
If you read regularly, you’ll have already seen our travel posts to France and London and spotted the Joie Brisk pushchair amongst the photos and likewise on social media.
As Munch is still 3 and we had alot of ground to cover on both trips, we were looking for a pushchair for her to relax in and take the weight off. We were also looking for a pushchair that had good capacity for luggage at the airport, or those days when we were out at the pool/beach and had extra to carry. So when the sun does shine in Aberdeen, we have to make the most of it and cram as much outside living into our short sunshine hours as possible.
Since we moved house, we have inherited the largest garden space we have ever had and I have turned to pinterest for some pinspiration on how to make the most of the garden space and ensure we create a family fun outdoor living space.
We’ve been home just over a week and missing the heat of the South of France already. It’s been rather quiet and we miss the hustle and bustle of our little home from home in the centre of the La Baume camping resort.
If you read part 1 of our Eurocamp trip you’ll know that we spent most of our week on site enjoying the facilities and breathtaking pools. Munch really did love the kids splash pool and we made it a thing of visiting it everyday and following our trip up with an ice cream. Evenings were spent either at the kids mini disco or at the enclosed play park, followed by more ice cream before heading to bed for the night.Continue reading
