Well the very fact MM is 2 and I’m only just sharing this room reveal, shows just how indecisive I am and my love for tweaking EVERYTHING in our house. But here we are, none the less, with the long awaited fox themed nursery room reveal and tour! The room was always intended to be animal themed, however it has developed from animal, to woodland, to fox over time and well, I’ve left them all in there… I’m pretty sure there must be a woodland somewhere in the World where you can find a giraffe and elephant, oh and a lion… Just maybe!Continue reading
Our guest bedroom is a room that I finished a few years ago, however, rooms in our house constantly evolve (and are never finished). One of the things we noticed was lacking pretty quickly was a set of bedside lamps. Originally we have a lovely giant metal star lamp on one side, but the practicalities of only have one lamp in the room became obvious quite quickly. I’m doing a little happy dance, because I am finally getting round to showing you our new house (I say new… ahem 3 years!) It’s been an absolute rollercoaster, but I’m happy to finally share another bedroom and that is of our eldest daughter, Liv (aka Munch).

There are so many things I would love to add and well, we haven’t organised the closet either. But I decided not to let that hold me up any longer.Continue reading
Ok, so there may only be 2 weeks of the summer holidays left in Scotland, but I set myself a challenge of finishing our living room and I’m holding myself to it (even if it does mean cheating a little a borrowing the English holiday to qualify it!). This is the last room in our house to be tackled (I won’t say ‘finish’, as you know by now how I feel with regards to every other room only being 95% there!). This room has served us well since we moved in 3 years ago. It has been our storage room for our kitchen, new sofas and we even used a corner of it as a sitting area when the kitchen got knocked through into the dining room to make a large open plan family room. But it’s time to throw open the curtains, clear the clutter and get this space complete (or at least 95% of it!).Continue reading
If you read my blog regularly, you will know we have been stuck in renovation Groundhog Day for over a year now. So when Gumtree challenged me to renovate my hallway and see how much I could save compared to the high street, I jumped at the chance.Continue reading
