Well, the time has come to go and find out ‘roughly’ when my c-section will take place. Today I should get told a week, with the exact day being confirmed the week before. We also get another chance to see her on a scan, as the placenta was low.
Apologies for using the same background, but I’m that immobile now, that I can’t seek out cool backgrounds. Trusty house wall it is for the foreseeable!
This week I turned 32 weeks pregnant. This means I have 2 more weeks until I find out my section date. Although I’ve been informed by a fellow Aberdonian that you get given a week, not a day and they call you the week before with a day and slot. Obviously it all depends on emergencies situations on the day itself, but lord knows why they can’t give you a date at 34 weeks.Continue reading
I can’t seem to keep up with these updates! I’m actually 31 weeks, so I’ll need to be a good blogger and post my 32 weeks update on time.
It’s been an eventful 2 weeks! Having been given crutches for SPD, I had to start my maternity leave earlier than I wanted. I now have a rather long wait ahead of me before baby girl arrives. I also made a total boob with my prescription, which left me short of anti sickness meds…that was not a fun 2 days!Continue reading
Well it’s more like 29 weeks, as i’ve taken so long to get around to writing this!
Things aren’t really improving health wise (to be expected), still on my anti sickness and after dialling down the dosage, I had to put it back up as I was feeling the effects too much. As for the SPD, well I’m finally on crutches, which should hopefully give me a bit more mobility. I say that…a turtle could overtake me!Continue reading
Another 2 weeks have passed! I can’t believe I am 26 weeks pregnant. I now feel like the end is in sight, which I’m grateful for! I’m really exhausted and my SPD makes my hips, bottom of my tummy and inner thighs very painful if I do too much. I have the Physio again at the end of the month and I think it might be crutches time. This means that my days at work will be numbered, as I didn’t make it past 32 weeks last time before going on maternity leave, which meant for a very boring 6 weeks in bed before getting induced. For that reason I want to keep going as long as I can.Continue reading
