Holidays are are about making special family memories to last a lifetime. The journey, the stay, the ice creams and the late nights all make up the perfect package for a holiday to remember. This holiday was set to be a week of firsts. First room share, first flight, first holiday abroad and first late night.
When I was asked to select a Eurocamp destination, I spent a long time considering and weighing up the best location for our first family trip abroad. With destinations ranging across the whole of France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and even Croatia it was tricky to select the right one. We wanted something child friendly, with great facilities and nearby beaches, so La Baume, Frejus in the South of France seemed like the perfect place to start carving out our holiday memories. It had great pool facilities including a vast kids splash pool and was only a 15 minute drive to the coastline, opening up possible day trips to the like of Cannes and St Tropez. Neither hubs or I had been to France before. Holidays for me as a child consisted of the British resorts abroad, whilst Hubs always holidayed in the UK camping with his family.
