Dressing your children is always daunting. I remember looking back in horror at some of the classic 80’s attire I was dressed in… Was it trendy at the time? Who knows! So my dilemma is always do I attempt to stay neutral or fully adopt a style that I love?Continue reading
Anyone who knows me will vouch for the fact that I have lived in nothing by jeans and sweatshirts for the last 5 years (outside of the office that is!) My interest in style is something that was put to one side along with many other interests, hobbies or anything just plain time consuming when we had children.
I’m not going to sit here and say I bought Vogue and had a wardobe Kate Moss would be envious of… nothing is further from the truth. But I at least had the time and disposable income pre-kids to ensure I could hone a collection of clothes that I actually liked.Continue reading
As you know we are big lovers of Lighthouse Clothing in this household. It’s a great way to wrap up warm and beat the Aberdeenshire weather.

Summer in Scotland has a lot to answer for. The number of clothes I got the girls, from shorts, to little short playsuits…none of which will see the light of day. I can honestly count on one hand the number of hot days we’ve had. So, what do you wear in a traditional Scottish summer….boots of course!
Spring will soon be showing itself and with it brings pretty pastel shades into the highstreet shops. But, regardless of what colour trend wave may be about to hit, my heart belongs to mustard fashion.
Everyone has a favourite colour and for me, right now, it’s mustard. We fell in love last autumn and have never once had a bad word to say about it. I even incorporated it into my blog logo.
You will find me clinging onto this shade for as long as I can and there is still plenty of mustard fashion available on the highstreet, so I’ll be grabbing what I can and hoping that it continues for a few more seasons.
