Instagram is by far my most favourite social channel at the moment. I love nothing more that to lose myself in my feed, which is full or so much inspiration and all my favourite online people. When I mention to people that I work from home, I often get a mixed response. There is clearly 2 camps… those that think it would be amazing (I guess they picture lounging around, feasting on home bakes and an endless supply of caramel latte), whilst the other don’t favour it, in fear of being easily distracted and not feeling ‘in the zone’.
There are certainly pros and cons to working from home and I’m going to try and remain as neutral as possible on summing these up:
I always get asked how I started blogging and what equipment, websites and tools I use. So, with my 4th blog birthday fast approaching (ahem September… but you know how time flies), I thought I’d give you an insight into some of my favourite tools I use for blogging on a day to day basis.
These are by no means what I started out with, but are the blogging tools or equipment that I have built up over the last 3 years and have certainly made a difference to my productivity and results. This last 12 months has changed dramatically. This time last year I had the children during the day and worked in the evening and at the weekends. I wrote a post about how I never saw hubs and that I would try to at least keep Saturday night free and we would have a little date night.
Since then, MM has started nursery. Initially 1 day a week, which was a dream work wise and meant that I could do less in the evenings. As this has gradually increased to 3 days, and with Munch now in school, I have an abundance of time…well not exactly.Continue reading
