It’s the start of a new month and that means only one things… time for another Bloggers’ Homes – The monthly interiors blog & vlog link up!

Thank you to everyone who linked up during April’s Bloggers’ Homes, you can scroll down to reveal the winner. Also, thank you to all those who tweeted and shared their space on instagram using the hashtag #bloggershomes.  It really is shaping up to be a great community out there and I love the inspiration and motivation that gets shared between everyone.

This month we have a gorgeous room feature from Jo at Not a Frumpy Mum, who is showing us around her freshly finished nursery.  I’m loving this space and think it looks perfect for drifting off in!

What do you love most about the room?

I love the woodland theme. I spent a lot of time on Pinterest before G was born and fell in love with the Cole and Son wallpaper and the rest came from there. My eldest sons nursery always felt a bit hectic with lots of colour and I love that this room is a lot calmer and serene. I have tried to keep it quite neutral and added bits of colour with the accessories and the main feature is the Woods and Star wallpaper.

If you could do it all again…what would you do differently?

Carpet! I’d have put a carpet down rather than the wooden floor but hopefully we can rescue that with a big rug when I eventually get round to buying one. I also need to get a blackout blind for the window.

What room is next?

The next room is a bit of a big project as it will be the kitchen but we are planning an extension along with it and that won’t be happening until next year. After that the whole house could do with a bit of a spruce up as we have lived in our house for almost 8 years and the original decoration we did before moving in is looking a little tired.

  1. The wallpaper is such a find. I’d genuinely have that in my own bedroom as a twenty-something! A friend is about to have a baby and I’ve been intrigued about their room decorating ideas – they’ve gone for cream and yellow which is quite an obvious combination when the gender of the baby is an unknown, but I think your use of grey is quite revolutionary! In reality, you’re going to remember a lot more about the room than the baby is, so it needs to be a room you enjoy going in – and, you’re right, it shouldn’t be too harsh on the eyes!

  2. The wallpaper is perfection! I’m now trying to think if there are any rooms that I could use it in. What a beautiful nursery, I love that it’s not too ‘babyish’ and is a room that can grow with the child.

  3. This is so beautiful. I love the soft grey for a nursery, especially the wallpaper. It looks super tidy though! xx
